Bo'a Gardens Rote, a family-run boutique resort

Our Story

A family. A garden. A patch of coast we love.

Since 2019

A hidden gem on Bo'a Beach.

Bo'a Gardens is a small, family-run boutique resort on the southwestern coast of Rote Island: four traditional leaf bungalows, two private villas and a garden restaurant. Hostess Cindy Dewijanty greets guests and looks after the day-to-day.

Our promise is a simple one: warm-hearted hospitality, breezy natural huts, home-cooked meals from local seasonal ingredients, and easy access to pristine beaches and legendary surf.

We keep the resort small on purpose. Rote is not Bali. Quieter, rougher around the edges, still very much itself, and we'd like it to stay that way. We'd rather have you back twice than a hundred guests once.

The Setting

Between the reef and the palms.

The property sits five minutes' walk from Bo'a Beach, home to the long, fast left of the Bo'a wave, and about fifteen minutes from Nemberala and the famed T-Land break. The rest of Rote is a short drive away: white-sand bays, weaving villages, and the quiet interior of the island.

Whether you've come for the surf, the stillness, or a bit of both, we'll help shape the trip around you.
