About

Description

Meet Cindy Dewijanty, the heart and soul behind Boa Gardens. An Indonesian woman with a deep love for travel, culture, and hospitality, Ibu Cindy spent 30 years living across Europe before returning to her roots in Indonesia.

Description

Her journey has been anything but ordinary—from building her dream boat Carpe Diem Phinisi in Sulawesi to supporting her sons in launching Boa Vida Rote.

Description

Eventually, Ibu Cindy carved out her own sanctuary in Rote: Boa Gardens, a warm and intimate restaurant and boutique guesthouse that reflects her passion for food, design, and community. A self-taught cook, Ibu Cindy draws inspiration from her years in Italy—where she learned to master pasta the authentic way—and blends it with her Indonesian heritage and flavors from around the world. From Spanish-style croquettes to Nepalese momos and black pepper crab, her dishes carry stories from her life and the people she meets.

Description

Ibu Cindy is known for her adventurous spirit, attention to detail, and warm-hearted hospitality. Whether you're having a meal at the restaurant or marveling at the architecture of the traditional leaf huts, a visit to Boa Gardens will surely enrich your Rote island experience.
